Cincinnati enters its NCAA Tournament Third Round game against Kentucky as a 16.5-point underdog, but don’t tell that to Bearcats’ junior forward Octavius Ellis.
The 6-foot-10, 230-pound big man appears to be quite confident heading into his team’s matchup against what some believe to be the best college basketball team the sport has seen in years.
During Friday afternoon’s session with the media, Ellis was asked about Kentucky being 35-0. He gave a pretty great answer.
Cincinnati’s Octavious Ellis on UK being 35-0: “Those 35 teams weren’t the Cincinnati Bearcats.”

That is true, Octavius. We’ll see what kind of difference that confidence makes on the court tomorrow.
Cincinnati and Kentucky are set to tip off at 2:40 p.m. E.T. Saturday. The game will be televised by CBS.
