Kevin Ollie recently signed a five-year extension with UConn on the heels of Ollie leading the Huskies to the school’s second national title in four years. The extension will keep him in Storrs through 2018, and according to Ollie — who has received a ton of interest from NBA teams with head coaching vacancies — he plans on honoring the entire deal.
Kevin Ollie: “I have a 5-year contract, I believe I’m going to be here the whole 5 years. I want to see my daughter graduate from HS here”

After leading the Huskies to a 52-18 record in his two years as head coach, including a 22-14 conference record between the Big East and the American Athletic Conference, it’s no surprise that the school wants to keep Ollie in Storrs for as long as possible. Lucky for UConn, it looks like Ollie wants to be in charge of the Huskies for the foreseeable future.
