Rodney Purvis is heading to UConn.
The North Carolina State guard announced last week that he is transferring, and UConn always seemed like the odds-on favorite to get him.
On Friday, it was reported by newsobserver.com that Purvis had decided on UConn, and Purvis tweeted out the following a short time ago.
Feeling Husky !!!!!!

Purvis will have to sit out the 2013-14 season. Assuming no one leaves early for the NBA next season, UConn’s roster in 2014-15 will feature Purvis, Ryan Boatright, DeAndre Daniels, Phil Nolan, Amida Brimah, Terrence Samuel, Kentan Facey, Omar Calhoun, Leon Tolksdorf and Brendan Allen. The Huskies also have offers out to several top recruits for 2014, including No. 1 recruit Jahlil Okafor.
UConn fans have been anticipating the arrival of Purvis, and the announcement was met with great excitement throughout UConn Country.
