Winning sure does put people in a good mood. Less than a week after getting blown out by Louisville in their final regular season game, the UConn Huskies redeemed themselves with a huge victory over No. 19 Memphis in their first game in the inaugural AAC Tournament on Thursday night. Afterward, coach Kevin Ollie did a quick interview with ESPN’s Andy Katz on the team’s quick turnaround. His players made sure they got some camera time too.
UConn now gets No. 13 Cincinnati in the semifinals before a potential rematch with Louisville in the title game. If the Huskies can win both of those, you’ll see a much different kind of celebration on the floor.
