Clemson’s rushing attack suffered a fairly big blow today.
The Tigers’ football program officially announced that junior running back Zac Brooks, the team’s leading returning rusher, will miss the entire 2014 season with a foot injury sustained at a Monday evening practice.

Brooks totaled 246 yards on 48 carries in 2013. He also had 83 yards receiving, including this 31-yard touchdown against Georgia.
With Brooks out, senior D.J. Howard and C.J. Davidson will likely receive the majority of the carries.
Clemson opens the season Aug. 30 against Georgia in Athens.
