Clemson football has booked FCS opponents for the 2020, 2024, and 2026 seasons, according to a report.
FBSchedules.com broke the news that The Citadel and Charleston Southern will both be heading to Death Valley in coming seasons.
The Citadel is on the books for the 2020 and 2024 seasons, while CSU will make the trip in 2026.
Clemson will host The Citadel at Memorial Stadium on Nov. 14, 2020 and then again four seasons later on Nov. 23, 2024. The Tigers will pay the Bulldogs a $450,000 guarantee for the 2020 game and a $475,000 guarantee for the 2024 game.
Charleston Southern will visit Memorial Stadium on Nov. 7, 2026. The Buccaneers will receive a $450,000 guarantee for the game.
Clemson has played The Citadel 37 times, with a 31-5-1 all-time lead in the series. The Tigers have never faced Charleston Southern.
The report also confirms a previously reported game against UConn in 2021, which will pay out $1.2 million to the Huskies.
