Watch pandemonium ensue in downtown Clemson as Deshaun Watson throws the game-winning touchdown pass to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide.
As you’re almost certainly aware by now, the Clemson Tigers took down the reigning national champion Alabama Crimson Tide in the national title game on Monday night, 35-31. It ended a 35-year championship drought for Clemson, and a 13-game streak of losing to the Crimson Tide that dates back to 1905. All of this, combined with the way the Tigers won—a last-second touchdown pass by star quarterback Deshaun Watson—made everything about the game magical.
Downtown Clemson was pure madness as the clock ticked down to zeroes.

I’m not even a Clemson fan, but that video gives me chills. Everyone is just so happy and so relieved—as if some heavy burden has finally been lifted. I’m genuinely happy for those fans, after coming so close the last few seasons, they finally reached the mountaintop.
