Deshaun Watson played a good amount during his NFL debut on Wednesday night.
Former Clemson Tigers star Deshaun Watson, the 12th overall pick in this past April’s NFL Draft, made his debut against the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday night. Texans fans liked what they saw.
Watson, who got the most work of any quarterback on the roster, finished 15-of-25 for 179 yards. He also rushed for 24 yards and a touchdown.
The NFL has put together a video showing every one of his snaps during the game.

There are certainly a few pass attempts that didn’t hit the mark – but that’s to be expected from a rookie with zero NFL experience. In general, he looked comfortable running the offense.
Will Watson supplant Tom Savage and become the starting signal-caller before opening day? It’s a question many are asking after just one game.
