Tonight is the annual Clemson football awards banquet, which for many seniors and players departing for the NFL Draft will mark their last “real” night on campus before the Tigers’ Pro Day in the spring. It’s a bittersweet night for all of them, who have poured their heart and soul into the program for years but are ready to take on the next big challenge.
Arguably the biggest name on his way out is Tajh Boyd, Clemson’s quarterback and leader. He spoke a few words at the banquet talking about the impact the school has had on him, and then posted a picture to Instagram echoing those same thoughts:
Tajh Boyd – “What a ride…I grew into a man here at Clemson. Clemson will forever be a part of me.”
