The Florida State assistant coach who Grayson Allen appeared to shove last night has weighed in on the issue.
FSU assistant Dennis Gates is denying Allen shoved him while chasing down a loose ball in Tuesday’s Seminole win. In fact, Gates seemed to blame himself for the collision.
Here’s his full statement, via Twitter:
Regardless of what Gates had to say here, many won’t accept that Allen didn’t intend to push him. Allen hasn’t earned that benefit of the doubt because of his past incidents.
Do you think it was intentional? Chances are, the way Allen’s season is going, there will be a new controversy to discuss by the time this one is done being debated.
