ESPN’s Dick Vitale seems to be tired of hearing Grayson Allen get crushed by the media.
Tuesday night, Duke guard Grayson Allen was involved in another controversial play – this time for apparently shoving a Florida State assistant while trying to save the ball from going out of bounds. The debate, of course, is whether Allen deliberately shoved him.
ESPN’s Dick Vitale took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to defend Allen. He thinks the scrutiny Allen is facing is “getting absurd.” He also referenced the fact that the Florida State assistant coach blamed himself for the matter.

The problem here is that Allen has been caught at least three times deliberately tripping opponents, so fans are going to scrutinize every move he makes on the basketball court moving forward. In that sense, he’s brought it upon himself.
Do you agree with Vitale that Allen is being unfairly criticized?
