A tough break for the five-star freshman.
Earlier: Duke freshman big man Marvin Bagley III, the No. 1 recruit in the 2017 class, just exited the Champions Classic game against Michigan State at the United Center.
Bagley III was poked in the eye accidentally by teammate Javin DeLaurier while attempting to block a shot.
He was down on the floor and attended to by trainers before heading back to the locker room.

Bagley III produced four points and six rebounds before exiting. Duke currently leads Michigan State by seven.
We will keep you updated on his condition.
Update: Bagley is back on the Duke bench, but the coaching staff told ESPN’s Maria Taylor he will not return with an “eye injury.”
