Grayson Allen was caught tripping another player on Wednesday night. Former Duke star Jay Williams has seen enough.
Wednesday night, Duke star guard Grayson Allen was assessed a technical foul after blatantly tripping an Elon player in the first half of his team’s contest. Allen, who has been caught tripping players before, got emotional on the bench after the transgression.
Former Duke star Jay Williams, one of ESPN’s college basketball analysts, has seen enough. He’s calling for the ACC to suspend Allen for the action.

Williams also suggested Allen should be suspended for five games.
Good for Jay Williams on Grayson Allen & Coach K: "I'm disappointed that he even played in the 2nd half. He should be suspended for 5 gms."

It’d be one thing if this were Allen’s first offense. But that isn’t even close to the case.
Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski could also go around the league and suspend Allen himself. But that would come as a surprise, given the fact that he hasn’t done that before in similar situations.
It’ll be interesting to see if any action is taken. We’ll keep you updated.
