One of them is looking like the frontrunner to land him.
Montverde (Fla.) Academy five-star wing R.J. Barrett is the top player in the 2018 class. The native Canadian appears to be inching closer to a decision.
According to multiple reports, Barrett is down to Duke, Kentucky and Oregon. He had also been considering Arizona, but has eliminated them due to the ongoing FBI investigation.
Also, Scout.com’s Sam Webb reported Barrett will no longer visit Michigan this weekend.

So who is projected to land Barrett? It looks more and more like he is headed to Duke.
The Blue Devils are trending in Barrett’s 247Sports Crystal Ball, and Scout.com’s National Recruiting Director Evan Daniels just put in a prediction for them.
Barrett was originally a member of the class of 2019 before reclassifying.
