This year’s national championship matchup is a great one, not only because it pits two great teams against each other, but because it is also strength vs. strength. Florida State has the top-ranked scoring defense in the nation, allowing only 10.7 points per game, while Auburn checks in as the best rushing team in the country, racking up over 335 yards on the ground per contest.
Naturally, both teams are very confident in their abilities — this morning we heard the Seminoles talk about how they are better than any team in the SEC. This afternoon the Tigers had a chance to weigh in, and fullback Jay Prosch thinks things will be status quo vs FSU — that they are going to run the ball down their opponent’s throat:
Auburn’s Jay Prosch: “I feel like we’re the best conditioned team in the country. We’re gonna run the ball down your throat”

Jay Prosch of Auburn: “We will find a weakness in the FSU defense.”

We have a feeling that it’s going to be an extremely physical battle at the line of scrimmage, and we couldn’t be more excited about it — something has to give.
