The former Florida State star had an impressive Game 1.
It didn’t take very long for Dalvin Cook to make it easy for Vikings fans to forget about Adrian Peterson.
The former Florida State standout RB set a Minnesota franchise rookie record in his first NFL regular season game.
Cook totaled 127 yards on 22 carries in the Vikings’ win over the Saints on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
That’s a Minnesota record for a rookie debut, breaking Peterson’s previous record of 103 yards.
