Jameis Winston finds himself in a pretty good spot right now — he’s currently in New York City as the presumptive favorite to win the Heisman tomorrow night, and his FSU team will be in Pasadena to take on Auburn for the national championship in January. He is at the top of the college game and in the next few weeks, he could accomplish a few goals that most athletes can only dream of.
While these honors are fantastic, they aren’t enough for Jameis Winston, however. Today while meeting with the media, Winston talked about one of his ultimate goals, and it’s actually quite spectacular to hear: he want’s to be better than Bo Jackson:
Winston: wants to do both baseball and football rest of his life. “I want to be better than Bo Jackson. “

Bo Jackson is the only athlete to be named an All-Star in two major American professional sports — he did it in the NFL and MLB. In addition to Winston’s role on the football team, he pitches and plays in the outfield for the Seminoles on the baseball diamond, and it appears that he would love to go pro in both of his sports. The goal is beyond respectable — he pretty much wants to be the greatest athlete of all time, and personally, I’m very excited to watch him try to chase that dream down.
