Saturday night, Florida State finished up its second straight undefeated regular season with a 37-35 win over Georgia Tech in the ACC title game. The Seminoles, now 13-0, wound up as the only team in FBS football without a loss – a remarkable accomplishment. After the contest, head coach Jimbo Fisher made it clear that regardless of the fact that the selection committee currently has Florida State as the final team in its field, he says there is no decision to be made.
Jimbo Fisher on FSU making playoffs: “I don’t have a message to them, but they don’t have a decision to make. The decision just got made.”

Most expect the Seminoles to qualify for the four-team College Football Playoff field, but nothing it etched into stone until we see the bracket Sunday. Alabama and Oregon are considered locks, while Baylor, TCU and Ohio State are theoretically battling for the final spot.
