Athletes moonlighting as rappers isn’t uncommon. Guys like Shaquille O’Neal, Deion Sanders, and even Kobe Bryant have dropped rap songs during their careers. The latest athletes to get in the rap game are four Florida State freshmen: defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas, defensive end Lorenzo Featherston, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, and linebacker Jacob Pugh. The quartet dropped a song called “Gotta Make It To The Top,” which includes a music video and several shout-outs to Florida State. Check it out:
Let’s just say we think all four are more likely to make it to the top of college football than they are the rap game. Still, while they may not be the next great rap group, it’s great to see the four freshmen having a good time.
