One of the most coveted prospects in the 2016 football recruiting class made his verbal commitment this afternoon. Malik Henry, the Thousand Oaks, CA product that is rated as the nation’s top pro-style quarterback by 247sports’ composite rankings, declared that he will attend Florida State on ESPNU’s College Football Daily.
Florida State’s main competition for Henry was Notre Dame. Henry is the third high school quarterback to commit to the ‘Noles in the next two classes. 2015 quarterbacks Deondre Francois and De’Andre Johnson are expected to sign with Florida State in February.
