If not for the play of Luke Hancock, the Michigan men’s basketball team probably would have been national champions in 2013.
The 2013 NCAA Tournament’s title game featured the Wolverines and Louisville. Hancock, a former Cardinal guard who completed his collegiate career this year, scored 22 points in that contest. The 6-foot-6 forward, off the bench, went 5 of 6 from the field–including 5 for 5 from 3-point range–and made seven free throws. Hancock was named the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player following Louisville’s 82-76 victory.
Today, he reminded Michigan fans of the dagger he continually stabbed in their collective heart.
Just got to Michigan. Hope they still like me here.

Hancock is currently preparing for the June 26 NBA Draft. Most projections currently have the former Louisville standout going unselected.
