Teddy Bridgewater and Gorgui Dieng were together at Louisville for two years. One the school’s quarterback, the other the basketball team’s shot-blocking big man. Bridgewater led the Cardinal’s football team to a BCS victory, Dieng helped Rick Pitino’s hoops’ squad win a national title.
Now, they’re together in Minnesota. Dieng was a first-round acquisition of the NBA’s Timberwolves in the 2013 Draft, Bridgewater the last pick in the 2014 NFL Draft’s first round by the Vikings Thursday evening.
Dieng welcomed his Louisville brother to Minnesota with some advice on what to wear.
Welcome to Minnesota @teddyb_h2o. Make sure you bring warm clothes. I am very excited for you

Bridgewater will certainly need some cold-weather gear to play in. The Vikings will be playing outdoors this season at the University of Minnesota’s as the Vikings new stadium gets built.
