It seems as if there are two very drastic opinions about the NFL future of South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. There’s one group of people–the majority, likely–that believes Clowney is the No. 1 prospect in the class and a potential All-Pro caliber player. And there’s another set of analysts–Merrill Hoge, most notably–that think Clowney is overhyped, overrated, etc.
It appears as if Clowney’s peers side, somewhat, with the overhyped camp.
In a poll conducted by ESPN The Magazine, NFL Draft prospects were asked, “Who is the most overrated player in the class?”
We asked: Who’s the most overrated player in the #NFLDraft? Prospects said: 51% Jadeveon Clowney, 26% Johnny Manziel, 14% Teddy Bridgewater.
