Petrino’s potential re-hiring, which has been met with much criticism, had been a hot topic the past 24 hours. Petrino coached the Cardinals from 2003-2006 before short stops with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He left each job under much controversy. Petrino spent the last season at Western Kentucky, where he led the Hilltoppers to an 8-4 campaign.
