Perhaps the best aspect of being a football player at the University of Miami occurs during the spring and summer time. Former Hurricanes currently playing in the NFL make their way back to campus to work out and train in the program’s facility, often spending time and mentoring the current crop of Miami players.
Former Miami Hurricane and current NFL star Jimmy Graham was doing this recently. Graham, who is listed as a tight end for the New Orleans Saints but wants to get paid like a wide receiver, appeared to train with rising sophomore tight end Standish Dobard.

“Tight End U” isn’t something you hear many schools bragging about, but if any should be, it’s probably Miami. Jeremey Shockey, Kellen Winslow Jr., Greg Olsen, and Graham, among others, have all shined in the NFL over the past five to 10 years.
