Jon Beason, a former Miami linebacker and NFL player, donated $250,000 to the football program to go toward a new indoor facility.
According to ESPN’s Andrea Adelson, former Miami linebacker Jon Beason has donated $250,000 to the Miami football program, all of which is set to go toward a proposed indoor practice facility for the Hurricanes.
The project is reportedly set to cost $34 million, with $3 million still needed to break ground. Head coach Mark Richt, who donated $1 million toward the proposal last year, sent out a nice little thank you tweet earlier today:
Thank you John Beason for your generous contribution to the indoor practice facility! U Family!
