Miami wide receiver Dionte Mullins is leaving the program.
This past Monday, Peter Ariz of CanesInSight reported that sophomore wide receiver Dionte Mullins was no longer with the program. Thursday, the news became official. We also learned the reason.
Mullins is leaving the program because of playing time issues. He’ll look to transfer somewhere he can see the field more.
“The University of Miami announced Thursday that wide receiver Dionte Mullins is leaving the football program to pursue more playing time opportunities at another program.”
Mullins caught just four balls for 53 yards this season.

Mullins was a four-star prospect for the class of 2016.
Miami, meanwhile, is preparing for arguably its biggest game of the year this Saturday against Notre Dame.
