It was just three days ago that four-star combo guard Coby White, a class of 2018 prospect, was given an offer by North Carolina. He’s already ready to commit to play for the Tar Heels. White made the news official Thursday night, tweeting his decision to his followers on social media.
White is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard from Wilson, North Carolina who is the fourth-ranked player in the state for his class. According to 247 Sports, White had five offers despite being just completing his sophomore year of high school. He’s the second commit for UNC for the 2018 class – with four-star point guard Rechon Black.
Looking at the timestamp on his note, it appears he actually wrote it all up late on Wednesday night.

White’s four other offers – which likely won’t be his only other four – were Clemson, Wake Forest, Tennessee and East Carolina.
