If North Carolina put together an NBA team featuring only former Tar Heels, the squad would be quite competitive. That’s, of course, not allowed.
Instead, the various North Carolina alums playing in the NBA have to compete against one another on separate teams. They can still work out together in the offseason, though. That’s what former teammates Kendall Marshall, Harrison Barnes, and John Henson did today in Miami.
If NBA teams were made based on where athletes played in college, which school would produce the best squad?
Kentucky? North Carolina? Kansas? Duke?
It’d be a fun tournament to watch.
