Talk about being a dedicated fan.
Luke Maye’s buzzer-beating jumper to top Kentucky in last year’s Elite Eight earned him a place in North Carolina basketball lore forever.
It also made at least one couple name their son after him.
Today, a surgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania named Robert Swendiman tweeted a picture of his newborn son Luke, named after Maye.

The official UNC Athletics Twitter account even gave Baby Luke a shoutout.

Now the next thing we need to have happen is for Luke Maye to meet his namesake.
That would be awesome.
