Earlier today, Wake Forest head basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik officially resigned from his position after four rough years at the helm. Just a few hours later, it’s fairly obvious that the student body is happy with his decision.
Wake undergrads have a tradition of “rolling” the quad – aka throwing toilet paper into the trees – after big wins either on the football field or the basketball court. It looks like they considered Bzdelik’s departure a worthy victory.

Bzdelik put together a 51-76 record during his tenure with the Demon Deacons, and failed to notch more than six ACC wins in any of his four years. It looks like it was time for all parties to move on.
