One of the most highly sought-after recruits in the class of 2014 is wide receiver Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper and music icon Snoop Dogg. Broadus has offers from all across the country — LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, USC, Notre Dame, Baylor, and Texas A&M all are looking to add his talents, among others.
While USC is believed to be the favorite to land Broadus, don’t sleep on Baylor, which just offered a scholarship last week. Apparently Robert Griffin III has been putting in a word with Cordell’s old man to try to make sure that he ends up in Waco:

You’ve got to love recruiting — perhaps the best part of this is that RGIII was working on Snoop at 4:41 AM. It will be interesting to see where Broadus ultimately ends up.
