Most college football fans know Bryce Petty as the quarterback that is incredibly effective under center for Baylor’s prolific offense, but not everyone realizes what a tremendous athlete he is. Petty showed a very impressive vertical at Baylor practice, clearing a tall bag with relative ease.
According to FOX Sports’ Bryce Feldman, Petty can jump 38 inches, which would be very impressive for most athletes, especially a quarterback who is known more for his arm than his legs or leaping ability.

We’re only a few weeks away from Petty getting his first chance to flash his skills against a live opposing defense. The Bears open with SMU on August 31.
