Iowa State’s Jack Trice Stadium is set to undergo an upgrade. The Cyclones’ football stadium will be renovated, with the south end zone being enclosed with a permanent lower-and-upper seating bowl.
Today, Iowa State released a rendering of what the stadium will look like once the building is complete:

The new south end zone structure will include a two-story premium club space, an HD video board and sound system, and connect the east and west concourses. The project is set to increase the stadium’s capacity to more than 61,000. It is estimated that it will cost $60 million when including the second phase of the project, which includes improvements to the parking and green space areas adjacent to the facility.
The project is expected to be completed by August 2015.
