Ask an NBA executive who should be the No. 1 pick in their upcoming June draft and they’ll likely say three names: Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins.
Ask Wiggins, though, and he’ll say just one name.

Appearing on ESPN’s “First Take,” Wiggins was asked about his draft prospects.
“I always put myself No. 1 above anybody else. That’s just me. I got a lot of confidence in myself,” Wiggins said.
Draft Express and ESPN’s Chad Ford have Wiggins going No. 1 overall, while NBADraft.net has Wiggins’ teammate, Embiid, being the first selection.
“I think for me, Jabari or Joel, I think we all want to go No. 1,” Wiggins said. “But it’s not the end of the world if we don’t because there’s been a lot of great players that ended up to be the best ever, and great Hall of Famers, that never went No. 1 and still had a great career.”
In his one year at Kansas, Wiggins averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
The NBA Draft Lottery occurs Tuesday night. The Milwaukee Bucks have the best odds of getting the first pick.
