Mitchell Robinson’s surprising second recruitment continues this weekend.
Robinson, who shocked the world by committing to Western Kentucky as a five-star recruit, left the program a few weeks after enrolling.
This coming weekend, he will reportedly check out Kansas. 247Sports first broke the news, which has been confirmed by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman:
Can confirm that Kansas expected to host Mitchell Robinson this weekend, per source. LSU also in mix for former WKU signee. https://t.co/8WQhQu1uzP

Robinson is the top center and No. 8 overall player in the class of 2017, and the type of player that is virtually never available in August.
If he does not receive a waiver to play immediately after what is still a transfer, despite the fact that he was only briefly at WKU, Robinson will be eligible in 2018-2019.
