Kansas basketball looks like an early favorite for one of the top 2018 point guards.
Four-star point guard Jalen Carey is the No. 17 point guard in the 2018 class. Carey, who plays for Montclair (N.J.) Immaculate Conception, holds offers from a number of big-time programs.
It is still early in Carey’s recruitment, but it appears that one “blue blood” school is standing out.
Two recruiting experts, including 247Sports’ Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer, put in predictions for Kansas last night in Carey’s 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Kansas does not have a 2018 commit yet, but did land five-star Billy Preston and four-star Marcus Garrett in 2017.
The Jayhawks have also added a number of transfers recently, including Cal point guard Charlie Moore and William and Mary grad transfer Jack Whitman.
