Four-star point guard Devonte Graham, one of the few remaining unsigned big names in the 2014 recruiting class, has decided to play his college basketball at Kansas, and news from yesterday may have played a part in his decision.
Graham chose the Jayhawks over N.C. State, and it seems like Kansas’ now vacant point guard position may have been a selling point.
Devonte Graham told ESPN that departure of Naadir Tharpe yesterday factored into his decision to choose Kansas over NC State.

Kansas announced yesterday that Tharpe, a junior point guard who averaged over 29 minutes a game for the Jayhawks this season, would be transferring from the program.
Graham, a product of Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, also has offers from Providence, Virginia Tech, and Virginia.
