Today hasn’t been a great one for recent Kansas transfer commit K.J. Lawson.
Just a few days after committing to KU, the Memphis transfer posted a Snapchat video of himself cursing out his old head coach Tubby Smith.
This is clearly exceptionally stupid on Lawson’s part, and he has been widely ripped on social media for his actions.
There are also some media members and others who are suggesting Kansas head coach Bill Self re-evaluate his decision to accept Lawson’s commitment.
Both K.J. and his brother Dedric verbally committed to transfer to Kansas, and they would each have to sit out the 2017-18 season before becoming eligible.
Bill Self, by the way, should pull KJ’s offer for that stunt. Totally disrespectful

Gotta wonder if Bill Self has seen this. … https://t.co/A50HzZ7fVw

He wouldn't be a "future" Jayhawk if I were Bill Self. https://t.co/YTRHGtr70U

Bill Self should yank his offer. But we all know he won't https://t.co/B7Qn7SfpDL

Despite the calls for Self to pull Lawson’s offer, at least one media member is skeptical the longtime head coach will do anything.
Wins a bunch of games with the Lawsons in two years. If the 300 arrests his team had this year didn't stop him, what's one Snapchat vid? https://t.co/Jc84w35VTk

Let this be another lesson to everyone: don’t ever film yourself doing anything and share it.
