That is a pretty strong compliment.
As Ohio State prepares to take Oklahoma this weekend, the Buckeyes’ heralded true freshman quarterback Tate Martell is simulating Oklahoma’s Heisman Trophy candidate Baker Mayfield in practice.
While Martell is quite talented in his own right, OSU defenders know they will be in for even more of a challenge against the real thing.
Sophomore defensive end Nick Bosa likened Mayfield to a very souped-up version of Martell.
Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa on how dynamic Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is: "He's like a Tate Martell on steroids."

Last season, the Buckeyes held Mayfield to 17-of-32 passing for 226 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 45-24 win. Can they duplicate that performance this weekend?
Ohio State and Oklahoma will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
