How’s this for style points?
TCU ran this awesome trick play on its second drive during today’s game against Iowa State. Horned Frogs QB Trevone Boykin took a snap and threw it backwards to WR David Porter, who then turned back to Boykin and threw the ball to his signal caller.
The play completely caught Iowa State off guard, and Boykin then scampered 55 yards down the sideline to the end zone. He wasn’t touched by any Cyclones defenders en route to the first receiving touchdown of his career. Check it out:
The touchdown grab gave the Horned Frogs a 7-0 lead, which they still hold. There’s still a ton of time left in this contest, and you can watch it on ABC.
