Kliff Kingsbury is not only the head coach of Texas Tech football, he’s also a proud Red Raiders alumnus and college baseball fan. Naturally, he’s been following Red Raiders baseball as they worked their way through the College World Series.
Big 12 Digital Network caught up with Kingsbury, who was watching as a fan, and talked to him about how proud it made him as a TTU alum to watch the baseball team thrive. He also discussed some of baseball manager Tim Tadlock’s motivational tactics, and Texas Tech’s success in hosting its first Super Regional this year.
Unfortunately for Kingsbury, the Red Raiders dropped games against TCU and Ole Miss, and have been bounced from bracket play.
