From the second Charlie Strong took the job as the new head coach of the Texas Longhorns, he’s been preaching about culture change in Austin. A big part of that new sentiment deals with the players respecting what it means to represent UT. Back in March, Strong banned his players from using the famous “hook ’em horns” hand gesture. Tuesday, we learned that he’s also roped off the Longhorns logo in the locker room – he doesn’t want his players to walk on it just yet.
Charlie Strong said he roped off the (Longhorn) “Hook ‘Em” on the floor in the locker room, so players can’t walk on it and will respect it.

Strong’s “putting the T back in Texas” campaign seems to be off to a good start, but we’ll see how it all translate to on-field success.
