Last night, Iowa State lost to Texas 31-30 after a very controversial call by the refs appeared to decide the game — Longhorns RB Johnathan Gray fumbled on the goal-line after being stripped by ISU’s Jeremiah George. George then took off to the races, and would have returned the fumble for a score, but the refs ruled that Gray was down by contact (Texas scored a touchdown just two plays later). You can check out the play below:
Naturally, ISU coach Paul Rhoads was furious about the call, and after the game he went on an epic rant. Then, George, who would have made the heroic play, took to Twitter and perfectly described what happened:
I had a dream last night, I made a game winning tackle and strip for a fumble. I scored we won. Then the thunder storm woke me up..

He won’t be forgetting that call for a long, long time.
