One of the key cogs of Texas’ offense is likely out for the rest of the season, according to a report by OrangeBloods.com.
Dominic Espinosa, the starting center for the Longhorns, suffered a broken ankle in Saturday’s season opener. Per the report, the senior is likely out out for the rest of the year.
OB has confirmed that starting center Dominic Espinosa suffered a broken right ankle last night and will likely miss the rest of the season.

Espinosa injured his right ankle during Saturday’s game against North Texas, a 38-7 Longhorns’ victory. Espinosa, making his 40th career start, suffered the injury in the third quarter of the contest. He was replaced by redshirt freshman center Jake Raulerson.
Texas plays BYU next Saturday.
