Texas football head coach Mack Brown is getting it from all angles at the moment. His Longhorns are off to a 1-2 start after losing consecutive games to BYU and Ole Miss, leading many to call for his head in Austin. And if you ask him, he’s right there with them – he thinks he’d boo himself if he were a fan. Via Dallas Morning News’ Chuck Carlton.
Mack tells the fans again to root for the players: “They don’t have to like me. I’m not happy with me right now. I might boo me.”

It’s great to see Brown focusing on making sure fans still root for the players. Now if he can just get the Longhorns to win some games, he wouldn’t have to tell fans how to act, or how he’d act in their shoes.
