Villanova Crushes Oklahoma, Scores Most Lopsided Win In Final Four History

@novabb

Villanova is headed to the national championship game after one of the most complete performances in the history of the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats, who previously knocked off Big 12 champion Kansas to reach the final weekend of the tournament, took care of Oklahoma in historic fashion Saturday night. In fact, Villanova scored the most lopsided win in Final Four history.

The final score? 95-51. You read that right.

Villanova shot an incredible 71.4% from the field and had six of its players (Ochefu, Jenkins, Hart, Arcidiacono, Bridges, Booth) reach double figures. Hart himself was 10-of-12 for 23 points.

Oklahoma, meanwhile, shot just 31.7%, and got just nine points from its star, Buddy Hield. In short, Villanova shot the lights out, while OU couldn’t buy a bucket.

Villanova will now get the winner of North Carolina vs. Syracuse. If the Wildcats shoot this well again, it won’t matter who they’re playing against.
