The Maryland Terrapins are less than one month away from officially leaving the ACC for the Big Ten. To celebrate the move, the school has been handing out “Think B1G” sunglasses to students in an attempt to create excitement about its new conference. It looks like the football coaching staff has gotten the memo as well. Randy Edsall, head coach, posted a photo of his staff wearing the new sunglasses as the team scouts and prepares for West Virginia.

The Terps actually play two games – James Madison and South Florida – before taking on West Virginia in mid-September. They also have one of the hardest schedules in the nation this year, drawing a number of the Big Ten’s toughest squads and a few other decent FBS programs. Perhaps they’d be “thinking big” if they plan on reaching a bowl game in 2014.
