Star(s): Riley Bullough: 46 yards on 11 carries, Aaron Burbridge: five catches for 113 yards
Story: Connor Cook, who led the green team, was the star quarterback in Michigan State’s spring football game. Although Cook went 10-for-26, he made some big plays and seemed more comfortable when things broke down. Redshirt freshman Tyler O’Connor threw two interceptions and was 3-for-6 for 59 yards, while fifth year senior Andrew Maxwell was 9-for-20 for 110 yards. Michigan State’s offense is still lacking consistency and struggling with dropped passes.
Michigan State’s defense remained solid, scoring two touchdowns. Taiwan Jones had 11 tackles and Denzel Drone had two sacks.
With Dave Warner as Michigan State’s new offensive coordinator, we are all hoping that come August, we will see a improvement from last season’s dissapointing 7-6 record.

Just watched a replay of the MSU spring game. Defense strong as ever. Offense still needs work.

Thought on MSU Spring Game – have they considered putting the defense on offense?
