Michigan State defensive tackle Malik McDowell is entering the 2017 NFL Draft.
The massive junior is expected to be selected early in the first round this spring.
He made the news official via his Twitter account this morning.
This fall, McDowell was limited to nine games by injuries. He produced 34 tackles (seven for loss), five quarterback hurries and 1.5 sacks.
As a sophomore in 2015, McDowell recorded 41 tackles (13 for loss), 4.5 sacks and eight quarterback hurries.
